‘PACIFIC VIEW' is a 3-bed/2-bath 2000 sq.ft. private home on Gull Drive in the Bodega Harbour South subdivision of Bodega Bay.
[1-King/2-Queen/2-Twin] 6 adults max; Addit’l +2 children with fee.
* Approx. 1/4 mile walk home to beach sand. CLOSEST street to beach.
* Backs up to 1st Fairway of the Bodega Harbour Golf course; Great views of Bodega Head, Doran Beach and the Pacific Ocean.
* The house is well-laid out with vaulted ceilings in all rooms, beautiful wood molding, skylights and tall picture windows. There are 2 beach access trails off of Gull Drive so you are literally minutes from the water.
Layout of House: All bedrooms/kitchen/bathrooms/dining room are located on the main-level. The living room is on the upper level-up about 6 carpeted steps with a railing.
There are 2 low-level cement steps and 2 wooden steps prior to front door. As you enter the front door on the main floor the Master Bedroom is to your right & sits facing the front of the home with ocean views from all its windows.
MASTER BDRM/BATH: Lrg room with a King size bed, HDTV/Cable/DVD. There is also ensuite full bath with double vanity/toilet closet in this room. Room is large with a trundle bed in it as well (2-twins...great for kids). The beds have reading lamps for all guests.
DINING TABLE/KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully-equipped and the dining table sits next to it and seats 6-8 guests. We keep the pantry stocked with various seasonings, teas, coffee, foil, saran wrap...etc. There are two decks off these rooms. A deck to the back facing the golf course with 5-Adirondack chairs and an enclosed deck to the side with the HOT TUB, propane barbecue & lounge chair. The hot-tub deck is enclosed with a 4.5 foot fence with a barked in area behind it.
BDRMS #2 & #3: Located back wing of home affording privacy from Mstr. Both these rooms are spacious with vaulted ceilings, Queen beds/TV/DVD. Both have reading lamps for all guests.
All King and Queen beds have memory foam Pure Comfort Mattress Topper's on them making for a comfortable night's sleep. The 2nd full bath is along this same hallway and houses the laundry closet (washer/dryer). These back rooms have a view of the golf course.
LIVING ROOM: Only rm on 2nd floor with wonderful views out 4 very large picture windows. Beautiful sunsets and a great view of Doran Beach, Bodega Head and Pacific Ocean beyond. Lrg. Screen 55' HDTV/BLU-ray/DVD/Roku enabled/CABLE, bookcase with a lrg. assortment of books & magazines, and a lrg. assortment of DVD's. Leather couches and a gas fireplace in this spacious room make it a wonderfully relaxing area to spend with family/friends.
Families: For guests with kids we have located in closets: hi-chair, infant seat. Closet full of games & Super Nintendo Video games. Safety covers on outlets.
Beach items: Beach blankets, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, ice chests, sand toys located in garage. We even keep a beach pass for families wanting to drive to the County Beach at Doran entrance with all their 'stuff' saving you the $7 parking fee.
What do we/guests love most about the home? The house has a very open uncluttered feel with all the sunlight from skylights/windows and vaulted ceilings. Love being able to walk out the front door and hit the beach in 5 min. The Master Bdrm in the front and the Guests Bdrms in the back wing of the home give a measure of privacy to couples/families with kids. We clean the home ourselves so know it's clean, functioning and is always well stocked with soap/paper products/supplies. Extra pillows/blankets in all rooms. We also own/run Acrat Plumbing, Heating & Electrical. Handy when you rent out vacation homes and need immediate assistance.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $100.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
Rental Agreement/Occupancy List signed & agreed to at time of booking. OCCUPANCY: Rates based on 1-6 guests (adults & kids). Additional guests day &/or night additional fee. Max 6 adults. Holidays 3-4 night minimum; holiday rate increase may apply **Rates may change without notice**About the Owner
I'm Debbie and my husband Dave is a Plumbing/Heating/Electrical contractor and runs his own business Acrat Plumbing/Heating & Electrical (handy when you run vacation rentals). I run Bodega Bay Rentals, LLC. We own Gull Harbour & Pacific View. I book, maintain and CLEAN. Yes... I personally do the cleaning. It's the best way to KNOW what's going on in the home. As a professed germaphobe I like knowing I'm providing guests with a clean environment (read reviews). Both college grads (Dave SSU Business/Debbie Pacific Union Nursing). We are active in our kids lives (college/hs). We've owned & managed commercial & residential property in Sonoma Cnty for 25+ yrs and have rented our homes in Bodega Bay since 2001. When not working we enjoy being outside working our ranch, hiking or playing at the beach. We've hiked Half Dome the past several years and have a slew of Spartan, marathons & triathlon's under our belts. If you see me around the harbour, it's usually with one of my furry friends enjoying this beautiful area! If you LOVE hiking...this is a great area...ASK ME! Our goal...YOU have a seamless vacation in a home that runs top to bottom. We clean/prep so have hopefully headed off any unwanted issues. We are local and available 24/7 to help at any time...even if just a texted question. Dave as a plumbing/electrical contractor....If an issue pops up...we respond asap.
